How We Fundraise
For the 2016-2017 school year, Marion Jordan PTA can host 2 main fundraisers:
- ‘No Stress’ Direct Donations.
- Another Fundraiser TBD.
* For the 2016-2017 school year, the MJPTA plans to spend about $60 per student.
What It Supports
The total budget for these programs is completely supported by organizational fundraising. Every dollar raised during the fundraisers, other than minimal administrative costs, is spent for every student’s benefit at Marion Jordan School.

56% - Education and Cultural Arts
Field Trips, Mini-courses, Parent Education programs, including Math Parent University Night, Brain Pop, RazKids, Typing Training, Reflections program, Birthday Book Club, Book Fair, Run Club, Sixth Grade Committee.
14% - Family Fun
Back to School & Kindergarten Social, Mom & Muffins, Dads & Donuts, Fun Fair, MJ Cares, and Talent Show.
19% - School & Teacher/Staff Support
Classroom Support, Principal Support, Nurse Health Supplies, Hospitality, Staff Appreciation.
10% - Administration
Directory, Website, Financial Software, Insurance and Administrating Supplies.

Additional Fundraising Opportunities
You may not know that many vendors in the area will provide money to our school just by purchasing items or services from them!
